I love date night! It gives me an excuse to dress up and look cute for my husband :-). Last night I had some time and I recorded my makeup routine. It’s nothing special... I’m just a regular girl. Unlike these YouTube stars and gurus, I use drugstore brands (the cheaper the better!). There’s no fancy lighting, no luxury items, no special tools. Just me and my cheap makeup lol. But I was really happy with the outcome (so was bae)... hope you like it too! Song: Chun-Li x Nicki Minaj 👑

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m lazy as f¥€k. So I’m always looking for simple hairstyles that require little effort and can last for a few days. The first thing that came to mind was a ponytail. I’ve done a straight pony before using kanekalon hair (see photo). This time I wanted something that is closer to my texture. The only products I used were Eco-Styler and half a pack of bohemian curl crochet hair... and voila! I ended up with a style that I can wear to work, the gym, girls night, or date night. You really can’t go wrong with this style. AND it’s my first tutorial video! Hope you enjoy it!
P.S. I love my 4c edges :-) Since I've been natural, I've always avoided "wash and go's." Who came up with the name? You literally CANNOT just go after you wash your hair. It's too much trouble for me, and my shrinkage is out of control! I figured I would try it this week since I bought a new product. I have been hearing great things about the Maui Moisture Coconut Oil Curl Smoothie so I wanted to see how it would work on a wash and go. I paired it with my go-to sealant: The Mane Choice Daily Hair Butter. I recommend you do this on wash day, when you don't have anywhere to go because you'll be looking crazy! So these are the steps to my recent wash and go: 1. I washed and conditioned my hair. 2. While it was still wet, I slathered on the Maui Moisture (use GENEROUSLY!). I brushed the product through, and applied The Mane Choice butter. Make sure you section your hair so all of your strands get enough product. 3. Next, I wrapped two rubber bands around each section of hair, leaving the ends free so they would remain curly. 4. I let my hair dry overnight. Make sure the hair is completely dry before taking out the rubber bands, otherwise your hair will shrink throughout the day. Overall, I like my results. My hair is stretched and moisturized. It's not as defined as I would like, but a little frizz never hurt anyone! What Maui Moisture products have you tried? What do you recommend? I would love to hear from you!
